I do performance together with my friend and colleague Aura Hakuri. Together we form performance duo Linda and Aura. We have worked together since 2001. In our work we have been finding out where we stand in relation to roles, stages of life, archetypes, art, nature and spirituality. The way we approach themes is not straightforward or underlining but rather descriptive, suggestive or interrogative. Trust plays an essential part in our work. The mutual trust between us as performers allows the viewers to also experience trust in the course of a performance. Another ingredient in our performances is play. Not play as referring to childhood, but play as an attitude and state of mind. Play emphasizes use of imagination and experimentation, it also permits crossing certain borders and being free.
